A. RESIDENTIALTRANSITIONAL LIVING WITH OR WITHOUT CASE MANAGEMENT (ADULTS):

 

Program Goals:  Participants will reduce their risk/likeliness to recidivate and/or their need, for this level or a higher level of supportive residential care.

 

 

Additional Goals for Programs with Case Management:

a.      Participants will obtain and/or maintain adequate/sufficient employment.

b.      Participants will adequately decrease the amount and or pay responsibly towards child support, fines, supervision fees, & restitution.

c.      Participants will develop and or increase the amount, number and frequency of contacts and or participation with people/activities/events that are defined as positive pro-social support.

d.      Participants will secure and/or release to adequate permanent housing.

 

B. RESIDENTIAL LIVING (ADOLESCENTS):

 

Program Goals:

 

  1.  
    1. Participants are provided a safe and sober living environment.
    2. Participant’s attitudes will improve which will be demonstrated by an increase in positive behavior.
    3. Participants will reduce their need for this level or a higher level of supportive residential care.

 

C. EMPLOYMENT SKILLS GROUP:

 

Program Goals: Participants will obtain and maintain suitable employment within a reasonable time frame.

 

 

 

D. MOTIVATIONAL ENHANCEMENT GROUP:

 

Program Goals: Participants will be in the “Preparation Stage” of the stages of change upon completion of the program.

 

 

E. CHEMICALDEPENDENCY TREATMENT-ADULT ASAM LEVEL II.1:

 

Program Goals:

 

  1.  
    1. Participants will remain abstinent from the use of mood altering substances.
    2. Participants will reduce their recidivism rate.

 

 

F. CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY AFTERCARE ASAM LEVEL 1-(ADULT):

 

Program Goals:

 

a.      Participants will remain abstinent from the use of mood altering substances.

b.      Participants will reduce their recidivism rate.

 

G. DRUG INTERVENTION PROGRAM:

 

Program Goals: Participants who complete will end up with sufficient knowledge about substance abuse and its negative effects.

 

H. COGNITIVE RESTRUCTURING GROUP (1) RATIONAL THINKING:

 

Program Goals: Participant’s attitudes will improve which will be demonstrated by an increase in positive behavior.

 

I. COGNITIVE RESTRUCTURING GROUP (2) CRIMINAL LIFESTYLES:

 

Program Goals: Participant’s attitudes will improve which will be demonstrated by an increase in positive behavior.

 

J. CONFLICT RESOLUTION GROUP:

 

Program Goals: Participants will demonstrate socially acceptable problem solving skills in daily living.

 

K. SEEKING SAFETY GROUP:

 

Program Goals: The participants will learn and demonstrate through behavior safer/healthier/socially accepted coping skills.

 

L. LIVING/LIFE SKILLS GROUPS:

 

Program Goals:

 

a.      Participants will demonstrate improved “socially acceptable” parenting skills.

b.      Participants will demonstrate improved money management skills.

c.      Participants well demonstrate improved heath/healthy living.

 

M. CULTURAL DIVERSITY WORKSHOP:

 

Program Goals: Participants will demonstrate an understanding of cultural differences.

 

 

N. FAMILY ORIENTATION PRESENTATION

 

Program Goals:

 

a.      Participants will be knowledgeable of the transitions their family member is going through and will be better prepared to appropriately facilitate the transition.

b.      Participants will be knowledgeable of available community resources to assist themselves and/or there family member in the transition.

 

 

O. SOCIAL DETOXIFICATION:


1. Description:The purpose of social detoxification is to provide the alcohol abuser a safe and comfortable environment while detoxifying and/or experiencing withdrawal from alcohol. This program is licensed by the ND Department of Human Services.

Social detoxification provides for safety during the withdrawal from alcohol process in a setting that is more cost effective for the community than is medical detoxification. The staff is trained to monitor the client’s condition/detoxification by using the Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment-Alcohol Instrument (CIWA-A). If an individual deteriorates and needs medical attention, they are transported immediately to the local hospital/emergency room.

After the individual has detoxed, referrals are made to other community agencies for persons in need of services and/or those who request assistance in addressing their alcohol/drug abuse or other pertinent issues/needs. Clients in poor physical or mental conditions are referred to appropriate care.


2. Program Goals:

a.     Participants will stay alive.

b.      Participants will successfully detoxify without accessing medical services.

c.       Participants will successfully detoxify without being arrested and accessing a jail cell.

 

 

P. ELECTRONIC MONITORING SERVICES:

 

Program Goals: Participants will follow through with the conditions of the sentence or condition of supervision and be successfully completed.

 

Q. DAY REPORTING:

 

Program Goals:

 

  1. Upon Successful completion, participants will not access a more restrictive level of care.
  2. Enforce the conditions of supervision or sentencing.

 

 

R. MISDEMEANOR PROBATION:

 

Program Goals:

 

  1. Participants will successfully complete the term of supervision.
  2. Participants will receive the services necessary to meet their needs and reduce their risk to recidivate.

 

 

S. COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM:

 

Program Goals:

 

a.      Participants will complete the requirements of the sentence.

b.      Participants will take responsibility for their actions and abstain from future criminal activity.

 

 

T. DRUG TESTING:

 

Program Goals:

 

                  a.Participants will remain abstinence from the use of drugs.

b.Participants will successfully complete the term dictated by the     referring agents conditions of supervision and/or court order.

 

U. INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

 

Program Goals: Participants will achieve the goals agreed upon for the individual counseling.
