Centre Participates in Behavioral Health Summit in Dickinson

Centre was honored to participate in the 5th Annual Behavioral Health Summit, held in Dickinson on June 18 and 19 and sponsored by Vision West. The two-day event brought together approximately 125 participants and 42 vendors, all united by a shared commitment to advancing behavioral health, reducing stigma, and building stronger, more compassionate communities. Centre hosted an informational table and was proud to be part of the ongoing dialogue.

This year’s summit emphasized the importance of connection, vulnerability, and collaboration. Key topics included: Supporting the mental health of caregivers and embracing vulnerability, understanding trauma and its widespread impact, addressing the mental health challenges and stigmas faced by law enforcement and construction workers, encouraging community collaboration and investing in one another, lifting others up through empathy, understanding, and support, and understanding mental health needs in the rural community.

The summit was a meaningful time to connect, converse, and encourage one another. It served as a reminder that behavioral health is not just a professional issue - it’s a human one. Healing begins with honest conversations and grows through relationships rooted in trust and compassion.
